About Rachel…

On my own journey toward healing my relationship with food, I got help in therapy with many of the emotional reasons for my behavior. I also realized I needed more practical guidance around how certain foods impacted my body, why I was having such intense cravings, and what to do about it all.

I do this work now because I know how painful compulsive eating is, and I know it can get better. I believe that it is possible to cultivate a relaxed and healthy relationship with food based on the needs of the body. And that doing this will lead you to a comfortable and natural weight for you.

I have been studying and learning about compulsive eating for 20 years. I have studied the Overcoming Overeating model, the Health at Every Size Model, and Geneen Roth’s model. I have extensive knowledge about nutrition, digestion, and natural health. My relationship to my own body has changed dramatically because of this work. Because of this, I have not just hope but certainty that change is possible for you, too.
